T1T1 is TBC’s lowest level of Enterprise access.  T1 is available throughout the area, and provides speeds of 1.5Mb/s both directions.  It utilizes the Verizon copper network.  T1 is TBC’s lowest enterprise level of service.  T1 customers have priority 7x24 support, and Verizon normally gives T1 a much higher level of responsiveness than standard DSL services.

In the DeKalb/Sycamore area, TBC has partnered with DeKalb Fiber Optics, LLC to provide higher speeds with better than T1 support levels.

Enterprise support includes:

  • 7x24 no charge access to tech support.

    • Outside of business hours, a tech will be paged and will call back within 20 minutes.

  • 7x24 logging and alerting

    • Automated logging of utilization and errors

    • Alerting on significant events

  • Resolutions to problems is typically less than 4 hours from notification.

  • Credit issued for problems that last more than 24 hours.
