Uploading a Domain Website
Download FTP Explorer:
In order to upload your web page to the server you must first download an FTP client, which will allow you to upload your files to the server. You may obtain a free copy of FTP Explorer by click on the icon below. After the file has downloaded, you must install the program by double clicking the file you just downloaded.

After you have installed the software, you must start the program. It should be located in the Start/Programs/FTP Explorer from the start menu. When the program starts it will bring up a screen similar to the one below. Click on the New button, and enter the following information:
Profile Name: TBC Net Inc.
Host Address: www.yourdomain.com
Login: your domain logon
Password: your domain password
Initial Path: leave blank

When you have the information entered, click the Connect button to logon to the FTP server.
Main Window:
FTP Explorer has now logged you onto your FTP space and is at the main window. It will look similar to the one show below. You will notice your directory listing to the left. (Important!!! Your homepage file MUST be named index.html to be viewed on the internet)

You are now ready to upload your files to the internet. Click on the
arrow on the tool bar. It will prompt you with a Upload screen like the one show below. Click the
arrow in the Look in: selection and select the directory where the files you want to upload are located.
(Quick Tip: To select multiple files, hold down your Ctrl key and click on the files.)
Select the files from the list and click Open.

Your files have now been transferred to your FTP site for viewing on the internet. At the main window you will notice the files you uploaded will now be listed in the Contents window on the right.

That's it! You have successfully uploaded your web page to the internet.
Your web page address will be http://www.yourdomain.com/
If you cannot view your homepage, you need to name your homepage file index.html
