Configuring Internet Explorer
Often, problems with Internet Explorer are caused by simple misconfigured settings. Follow the steps below to double check your dial-up settings in Internet Explorer.

Step 1: Click on the Start button in the lower left hand corner of your screen. From the Start menu select the Control Panel icon.

Step 2: In the Control Panel, double-click the Internet Options icon.

Step 3: Select the Connections tab at the top of the Internet Options menu.

Step 4: In the middle of the Connections menu, select the Settings button.

Step 5: At the bottom of the Settings window, make sure that your username and password are entered correctly.

Step 6: If the username and password are correct, click on the Properties button in the lower right hand portion of the Settings window.

Step 7: In the Propeties window verify that the phone number is correct and "Use dialing rules" is not checked.
